Sophie Sesmat

Sophie Sesmat is an antiquaire specializing in Arts and Traditions Populaires, currently serving at Bijoux d'Hier since January 2024. Additionally, Sophie holds the position of Membre Elève-expert at the Chambre Nationale des Experts Spécialisés en Objets d'Art (CNES) since March 2016 and has worked as a chroniqueuse for RCF Savoie - Haute-Savoie since September 2019. From March 2008, Sophie has been affiliated with Objets d'Hier as an antiquaire focused on popular arts. Notably, Sophie co-authored the documentary "SACRÉ BUSINESS" with Jean-Pier Delaume-Myard for KTO in 2020. Previous roles include being a chroniqueuse at TV8 Mont-Blanc and co-curating the exhibition "Sacré et quotidien" in 2018. Sophie holds a Master's Degree in English Language and Literature from Université Catholique d'Angers and studied at EAC in Paris.
