EXP, a 501(c)3 organization based in Carson, is the opportunity engine. Our programs help schools deliver an innovative, career-based curriculum that makes classroom learning relevant and exciting. During the 2021-2022 school year, EXP programs are made available to more than 6,350 high school students in 11 Southern California high schools. 

Our success depends on our unique ability to bring industry and schools together to solve problems and overcome obstacles that prevent students'​ access to education, experience and opportunities. More than 400 industry leaders serve as EXP volunteers, mentors and internship hosts.

By helping schools and industry work together, EXP is changing how society prepares students for life and bringing genuine opportunity to every young person we can reach.

Through strategic planning and outreach efforts, the team plays a crucial role in driving the organization's mission forward.

Through collaboration and leadership, they drive EXP's mission to empower youth by bridging the gap between classroom learning and real-world experiences.

Leadership Team

The Marketing and Communications team at EXP is responsible for promoting the organization’s mission and programs to both schools and industry partners. They create and implement strategic campaigns, manage public relations efforts, and organize events that highlight the impact of career-based education. By effectively communicating EXP's vision and success stories, they engage stakeholders and drive awareness to enhance student opportunities across Southern California.
