Giuseppe Arria (PMP)®

Giuseppe Arria (PMP)® has extensive work experience in project management and IT operations. Giuseppe currently works as an IT Operations Project Lead at Explora Journeys, a position they have held since June 2022.

Prior to that, Giuseppe worked at Engineering Ingegneria Informatica Spa from February 2019 to May 2022. During this time, they served as a Project Manager and also gained experience as a Junior Project Manager through an internship.

In 2018, Giuseppe was selected as a scholarship holder by the Politecnico di Torino to participate in the European Innovation Academy. Giuseppe worked on a startup called "GogoPower" as the CEO of the team.

Before that, Giuseppe served as a Mathematics Instructor (as a Tutor) at Politecnico di Torino from January 2018 to May 2018. Giuseppe was involved in a project called "Scuola dei Compiti," which aimed to provide support in math and other subjects to high school students in difficulty.

In 2015, Giuseppe founded a startup called Around, where they served as the Founder & CEO. Around aimed to solve transportation problems for university students attending events in Catania by providing an app for purchasing e-tickets and sharing rides.

Additionally, Giuseppe participated in a Business role at Startup Weekend in November 2015.

Giuseppe Arria (PMP)® has a strong educational background in engineering and management. Giuseppe began their education at the Liceo scientifico Luigi Einaudi, where they obtained a Diploma di scuola superiore (High school) in 2014. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Industrial engineering at Università di Catania from 2014 to 2017.

In 2017, Giuseppe continued their studies at Politecnico di Torino, where they obtained a Laurea Magistrale LM in Engineering and Management. Giuseppe further expanded their knowledge and experience in Industrial engineering through an Erasmus program at Grenoble INP - Génie industriel from 2018 to 2019.

In addition to their academic achievements, Giuseppe has obtained several certifications to enhance their professional qualifications. Giuseppe obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification from the Project Management Institute in January 2023. Other certifications include ECDL Core from AICA - Associazione Italiana per l'Informatica ed il Calcolo Automatico in April 2015, PET - Pass with merit from Cambridge Assessment in June 2013, and Scrum Fundamentals Certified from SCRUMstudy - Accreditation Body for Scrum and Agile in March 2020.
