Derek Ramthun has been working in the tourism industry since 2010, starting as a Tourism Assistant Volunteer and working their way up to their current position as Northeast Industry Relations at Explore Minnesota Tourism. With a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality & Tourism Management from the University of Wisconsin-Stout, Derek has gained valuable experience in grant management, industry outreach, and program development. Their expertise in co-op and regional marketing strategies has been honed through their previous roles as a Marketing Manager and Co-op & Regional Marketing Strategist.
