Andrew Bruening

Andrew Bruening, PhD comes to Explorer At Large through our Instructional Unit Design Partner, the PAST Foundation, where Andy serves as the Director of Bridge Programs. He is also the Vice Chair for the Central Ohio Robotics Initiative (CORI). Over the years, Andy has gained extensive experience teaching high school science and engineering courses. He was a founding faculty member of Metro Early College High School and, since starting the team in 2010, Andy has been the coach of Metro’s FIRST Robotics team 3324, The Metrobots. He brings a wide range of rapid prototyping skills and a wealth of fabrication know-how to his work.
