Jaffar Mahmoud

Jaffar Mahmoud is a seasoned creative professional and founder of The HudHud Press, established in January 2023, which focuses on amplifying emerging voices in storytelling across the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. Currently serving as a Creative Writer and Manager in the Events & Entertainment department at Expo 2020 Dubai, Jaffar collaborates closely with the Executive Creative Director to shape major narratives for significant events. Previous roles include Creative Copywriter and Associate in Marketing & Communications at Expo 2020 Dubai, along with experiences at BrandMoxie, the Abu Dhabi Film Commission, and the Salama Bint Hamdan Al Nahyan Foundation. Jaffar holds a Master of Arts in Writing, Fiction from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Zayed University.
