Amro Akasha is an experienced professional in security technology and IT infrastructure, currently serving as Head of Security Technology at Expo City Dubai since April 2023. Previously, Amro held the position of Senior Manager - Systems - Security at Expo 2020 Dubai from February 2019 to March 2023. Amro's career also includes roles as an IT Infrastructure Consultant & Project Manager at PTS Consulting from May 2013 to February 2019 and as a System Administrator at JA Resorts & Hotels from July 2005 to May 2013. Amro's educational background includes a Bachelor of Internet Science & Technology with a focus on E-Commerce from the University of Wollongong, completed in 2005, and prior education at Cambridge High School in Dubai. Key responsibilities have included capacity planning, strategic goal development for systems, and implementing Virtual Machines to optimize cost and ROI.
