Nora Layous

Nora Layous is a seasoned communications professional currently serving as Head of Strategic Communications at Expo City Dubai since August 2022, after holding the position of Senior Communications Manager during Expo 2020 Dubai. Nora has extensive experience in managing communications for high-profile initiatives aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals and has successfully led various communication strategies for pavilions and programs during Expo 2020. Prior to their tenure at Expo, Nora worked as a Senior Communications and English Content Consultant and held key roles in General Motors Africa & Middle East, Hanover Communications, Hill+Knowlton Strategies, and Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, among others. Nora holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from Purdue University, with minors in Marketing, Organizational Behavior, and Human Resources.
