Gonzalo Lira

Gonzalo Lira is an experienced finance professional and educator with a diverse background in various financial roles. Currently serving as an Associate at ExpoCredit since December 2021, Lira also holds the position of Jefe de Riesgos Banca Mayorista at Banco Financiero del Perú, where responsibilities include overseeing risk management in wholesale banking. Since August 2012, Lira has been a Professor of Finance at Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas, coordinating the Capital Markets course and teaching subjects such as Corporate Finance and Project Evaluation. Additional experience includes financial consulting since June 2011, managing administration and finance at Doctor + (Pacífico Seguros) in early 2012, and holding corporate finance roles at HAUG S.A. and América TV. Lira's educational credentials include multiple master's degrees in Financial Risk, IFRS, Financial Planning and Services, as well as an MBA with a focus on Finance, complemented by a bachelor's degree in Economy from Universidad de Lima.
