Peter Sutoris

Peter Sutoris is a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Climate and Development at the University of Leeds since January 2024, and the Founder and Director of Scale Research Group, an international development consultancy focusing on scalable ethical programs. Previously, Peter served as an Assistant Professor in Social Justice and Education at the University of York, and as an Honorary Senior Research Associate at IOE - UCL's Faculty of Education and Society. With a background in research, Peter has contributed to various organizations including Busara Center for Behavioral Economics and Oxford Policy Management, where roles ranged from Senior Research Consultant to Qualitative Research Lead. Peter's academic journey includes a PhD in the Anthropology of Education from the University of Cambridge and a BA (Summa Cum Laude) in History from Dartmouth College. Key research focuses have included the intersection of education policy and environmental activism, and Peter's work has been recognized through multiple awards and publications.
