Managing Scientist at Exponent

Andrew Deines has a diverse work experience in environmental science and research. Andrew started their career as a Volunteer with the United States Peace Corps, where they worked in a rural African farming village to promote sustainable farming and forestry practices. Following this, they joined the University of Notre Dame as a PhD Candidate in Biological Sciences, focusing on the impact of freshwater fish invasions on subsistence fisheries. Later, they worked as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at Michigan State University, studying the effects of introduced species on freshwater fisheries. Currently, they hold the position of Managing Scientist at Exponent, where they continue to contribute their expertise in environmental science.

Andrew Deines completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Environmental Science from Western Washington University from 2000 to 2003. Andrew then pursued further education at the University of Notre Dame, where they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biology between 2006 and 2013.
