Arthur J. began their career at the USDA - Agricultural Research Service in 1976, where they served as a Research Leader for over 20 years. In 1998, they joined the US FDA as the Lead Scientist in Microbiology and also held the position of Lead Sci Food Safety Initiative and Associate Director of JIFSAN. Dr. Miller's expertise in food safety led him to become a Principal Scientist at Exponent, Inc. - Health Sciences in 2005. At Exponent, they advise the food and beverage industry on various aspects of food protection, including premarket approvals, post-market brand protection, recall and crisis management, expert legal consulting/testifying, and insurance claims support. Kennedy High School in Plainview-Old Bethpage. Arthur J. then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Kansas State University, completing their studies in 1972. Following this, they obtained a Master of Science degree in Food Science from Penn State University, which they completed in 1977. Later, they attended Drexel University from 1980 to 1984, where they specialized in Environmental Science with a concentration in Food Science and earned their Ph.D. degree.
