Dr. Jill E. Sackman

Dr. Jill E. Sackman has extensive work experience in various roles within the biomedical engineering and healthcare industries. Dr. Jill E. is currently a Senior Manager in the Biomedical Engineering Practice at Exponent, where they have been since March 2017. Prior to that, they served as the Senior Medical Director at Blue Pearl Veterinary Partners from 2015 to 2017. From 2008 to 2015, they worked as a Senior Consultant at Numerof & Associates, Inc. Dr. Sackman also held the position of Director of Preclinical Affairs at Johnson & Johnson Ethicon Endo-Surgery from 1997 to 2008. Before entering the industry, they were an Assistant Professor in Surgery at the University of Tennessee Medical Center from 1989 to 1997.

Dr. Jill E. Sackman's education history includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Oakland University, which they obtained from 1978 to 1981. Following this, they attended Michigan State University and earned their Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree in Medicine from 1981 to 1985. Later, they pursued further academic qualifications and completed a PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville between 1992 and 1995. Lastly, they engaged in Executive Management studies at the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business from 2000 to 2004.
