Gina Flynn

Gina Flynn has a comprehensive and diverse work experience in the legal field. Gina currently holds the position of VP & General Counsel at Exponent starting from April 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Lumileds for a significant duration from 2012 to 2022. At Lumileds, they held several roles including Head of Litigation; Sr. Director, Global Legal Affairs, General Counsel (ad interim), Sr. Director, Legal & Compliance, and General Counsel, LED Business Unit. Their responsibilities included managing worldwide litigation, employment and regulatory matters, as well as providing legal support for M&A transactions. Before joining Lumileds, Gina worked at Philips Lighting as a Legal Counsel, primarily supporting the Philips Professional Luminaires businesses. Additionally, they worked at Lowenstein Sandler PC as Counsel, advising emerging growth companies and investors on corporate governance and venture capital financings, and at DLA Piper US LLP as an Associate, focusing on corporate and securities matters. Gina began their career at Nixon Peabody as an Associate, handling corporate and securities law matters for emerging growth companies and investors, as well as fund formation and portfolio management for private equity clients. Gina started their legal career at Hutchins, Wheeler & Dittmar. Gina Flynn obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and International Relations from Mary Baldwin University in 1995. In 1996, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in International Studies at the University of Melbourne, completing it in 1997. Following that, they attended Boston College Law School from 1997 to 2000, earning a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.
