John Erik Vanston

John Erik Vanston's work experience includes a role as a Human Factors Scientist at Exponent since February 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of California, Berkeley from June 2019 to February 2022. From August 2012 to May 2019, John was a Graduate Student at the University of Nevada, Reno, where they also served as a Research Laboratory Manager, overseeing the day-to-day operations of a research lab. Additionally, they held various teaching positions, including Instructor for Physiological Psychology and Statistical Methods, and Graduate Teaching Assistant for Introduction to Psychology at the University of Nevada, Reno. Before that, they worked as a Research Assistant at Texas State University from 2010 to 2011.

John Erik Vanston completed their education starting with a high school diploma from Westwood High School, which they obtained between 2001 and 2005. John Erik then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at Texas State University from 2006 to 2011. Later, from 2012 to 2019, they attended the University of Nevada, Reno, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Vision Science/Physiological Optics.
