Human Factors Scientist at Exponent

Nicole Keller, Ph.D., has a diverse range of work experience. Nicole is currently working as a Human Factors Scientist at Exponent since February 2023. Prior to this, they held various roles at The University of Texas at Austin, including being a PhD Neuroscience Candidate from September 2017 to December 2022. In this role, they investigated how aversive emotions shape learning and memory in humans, designed and implemented experimental paradigms, and mentored research assistants. Nicole also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant from January 2022 to June 2022. Before their time at The University of Texas at Austin, Nicole worked as a Post Baccalaureate Research Assistant at Centro de Investigación en Neurociencias, Universidad de Costa Rica from June 2016 to May 2017. Additionally, they were an English Language Teacher at Pro Language (Academia de idiomas) during the same time. Nicole's earlier experience includes being an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Mauk Lab, Department of Learning and Memory, University of Texas at Austin from January 2015 to March 2016.

Nicole Keller, Ph.D. has an extensive education history. Nicole completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Neuroscience at The University of Texas at Austin from 2017 to 2022. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Neuroscience from the same university from 2012 to 2016. During their undergraduate studies, Nicole also pursued a Business Foundations Certificate from the McCombs School of Business. Prior to their university education, they completed their International Baccalaureate Diploma at Lincoln School in Costa Rica from 2009 to 2012.
