Managing Scientist at Exponent

Megan Leonhard's work experience includes roles at multiple companies. Megan began their career in 2011 as a Lab Assistant/Data Analyst at the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) Agricultural Research Service (ARS) and held this position until 2012. In 2013, they joined the Center to Cure as the Chief Epidemiologist/Biostatistician, where they stayed until 2015. Megan then joined the Oregon Health Authority—Public Health Division in 2014 as a Syndromic Surveillance Consultant. In 2014, they also started working at Exponent as a Scientist, a role they held until 2017. Megan was promoted to Senior Scientist at Exponent in 2017 and later became a Managing Scientist in 2019. The end dates for their roles at Exponent are unknown.

Megan Leonhard obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Biology from Western Washington University, where they attended from 2010 to 2012. Later, they pursued a Master of Public Health degree in Epidemiology and Biostatistics at Oregon Health & Science University, completing their studies between 2012 and 2014.
