Mohammad Soleimani Dodaran has gained extensive work experience in the engineering field. Starting in 2009, they worked as an Existing Vessel Surveyor at the Iranian Classification Society (ICS) for a year. From 2011 to 2014, they worked as a Structural Engineer at SADRA (Iran Marine Industrial Company). Mohammad then moved on to Louisiana State University, where they served as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant from 2016 to 2019. Following that, they joined Auburn University in 2019 as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant until 2021. Currently, they work at Exponent as an Associate in the Mechanical Engineering practice, starting in 2022.
Mohammad Soleimani Dodaran holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Mechanical Engineering, with a focus on Material Science and Engineering, from Auburn University, which they obtained from 2019 to 2020. Prior to that, they pursued another Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Mechanical Engineering at Louisiana State University, specializing in the same field, from 2016 to 2019. Mohammad also holds a Master's degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, obtained from Amirkabir University of Technology - Tehran Polytechnic, where they studied from 2010 to 2013. Furthermore, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the same institution, Amirkabir University of Technology - Tehran Polytechnic, from 2004 to 2009.
