Ryan Harne

Ryan Harne, Ph.D., P.E., FASME, is a mechanical engineering consultant and innovator with extensive expertise in mechanical design, acoustics, vibration, and manufacturing. They served as a Principal at The Sound Enterprise from 2020 to 2023 and held academic positions including Associate Professor at The Ohio State University and Penn State University from 2015 to 2023. Currently, Ryan is the Co-Founder of HyperDamping and serves as Director at Secretariat, while also working as a Managing Engineer at Exponent. Ryan earned a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech in 2012.
