Benjarong Suwankiri has a diverse professional background with experience in various roles and industries. Benjarong currently holds the position of Chief of Strategy Group (Senior Executive Vice President) at the Export-Import Bank of Thailand since April 2022. Prior to that, they worked at ttb bank as an Executive Vice President and Head of Automotive Lending Business Strategy from July 2021 to March 2022.

From 2014 to 2021, Suwankiri was actively involved with the Thai Bankers' Association, where they served as the Lead Facilitator on TBA's Strategic 5-year Plan. Before that, they worked at TMB Bank PCL, holding multiple roles including Head of Automotive Lending Business Strategy and Executive Vice President from 2009 to 2021. Notably, during their tenure at TMB Bank, they played a pivotal role in transforming MEbyTMB into a full digital bank business, achieving significant customer growth and introducing innovative digital products and services.

In addition to their banking career, Suwankiri has also contributed to academia as a Special Lecturer at Thammasat University from 2010 to 2018. Benjarong also gained teaching experience as a Lecturer and Teaching Assistant at Cornell University from 2005 to 2008. Overall, Suwankiri's work experience reflects their expertise in strategic planning, digital transformation, and leadership in the banking industry.

Benjarong Suwankiri completed their high school education at Geelong Grammar School from 1994 to 1998. Benjarong then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Mathematics at the University of San Francisco from 1999 to 2002. Following that, they attended Cornell University, where they received a Master of Arts degree in Economics in 2007. Benjarong continued their education at Cornell University and obtained a Ph.D. in Economics in the year 2008.
