Miguel Allamand has extensive experience in the agricultural export sector, currently serving as Presidente del Directorio for Exportadora Subsole S.A. since January 1991. Under Miguel Allamand's leadership, Subsole has become one of the leading fruit exporters in Chile, engaging over 150 farmers and managing approximately three thousand hectares of cultivable land. Prior to this, Miguel Allamand served as Concejal for the Municipalidad de Santiago from 1996 to 2000, focusing on improving educational resources and opportunities within municipal schools. Earlier career roles include Gerente General at Exportadora Río Blanco Ltda., where significant export growth was achieved, Administrator General at Agrícola Verónica Braun during a financial crisis in the 1980s, and Agrónomo at Empresa Exportadora Safco. Miguel Allamand holds a degree in Agronomy from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, completed in 1979.
