Karthik Ramani

Karthik Ramani is a distinguished academic and industry leader in the field of mechanical engineering and technology innovation. Currently serving as a Venture Partner at Exposition Ventures since March 2025, Ramani conducts technology due diligence and strategic assessments for deep-tech investments. Ramani holds multiple professorial titles, including the Donald W. Feddersen Distinguished Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Purdue University, where involvement spans from 1991 to the present. Additionally, Ramani is a Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Purdue University's Elmore Family School. As a co-founder and Chief Scientist at ZeroUI, Ramani advocated for empowering individuals in personal making™, and contributed to VizSeek as a co-founder, enhancing industrial user connectivity through a shape-based search engine. Ramani's academic journey includes a Ph.D. from Stanford University and degrees from The Ohio State University and the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
