Cruising at a top speed of 160 km/h, KLIA Ekspres is South East Asia’s fastest train with a 99.7% on-time service performance. To date, ERL has carried more than 90 million passengers. 

ERL is a part of Global AirRail Alliance (GARA), a common group of airport express services worldwide. ERL was named AirRail Link of the Year at the Global AirRail Awards in 2012, 2014, 2015 and 2016. On the home front, ERL has received numerous awards from Suruhanjaya Pengangkutan Awam Darat (SPAD) including the Best Operator Award (Rail) in 2014 and 2017 .
