Maike Tyburski has a wealth of work experience, beginning in 2002 with an internship in the Food & Beverage Department at the Town House Hotel. Maike then worked as Food & Beverage Support at the Nederburg Wine Auction. In 2004, they completed an internship as Sales Assistant at the Hotel Ambassador Berlin and in 2005, they were Sales Manager for Diplomatic/ Embassy Sales at The Kerry Centre Hotel/ Shangri-la Hotel Group. In 2006, they held two positions simultaneously, as a Teacher of German/ English at the Berlitz Language School and Sales & Marketing Manager at TRIO International Catering Ltd. In 2008, they were Sales Executive at The Collection by Liz McGrath. From 2009 to 2011, they were self-employed as a website owner at Bookabed. Finally, since 2011, they have been Customer Sales and Service Manager at Mindpearl, and since 2021, they have been Customer Success Manager at ExpressSteuer.

Maike Tyburski completed their Diploma in Hospitality Management from Granger Bay Hotel School CapeTown/ South Africa in 2004. Prior to that, they obtained an A-Level Degree/ Abitur from German School of Cape Town, CapeTown/ South Africa in 2000. Maike Tyburski's education history began in 1994 when they attended German School of Beijing, Beijing/ China.
