Onofrio Samarelli

Onofrio Samarelli has extensive experience in data protection and information security, currently serving as the Responsabile per protezione dei dati personali (DPO) e sicurezza delle informazioni (CISO) at Exprivia since July 2009. Responsibilities include ensuring regulatory compliance and defining the security strategy for the Group, along with being a member of the CISO Cloud Club of CSA Italy Chapter since 2021. Previous roles at Exprivia involved responsibilities in quality management and coordination of production within the healthcare and public administration sectors. Prior to Exprivia, Onofrio Samarelli held positions at Svimservice SpA and worked on various IT projects. An academic background includes a degree in Computer Science from the Università degli Studi di Bari and certifications in data protection from TÜV Italia srl.
