Ahmed Al-Olayan has a diverse work experience in the field of medical engineering. Ahmed started their career in 2016 at Abbott as a Biomedical Engineer, working until July of the same year. From July 2016 to January 2017, Ahmed worked as a Biomedical Engineer at King Fahad Medical City - KFMC. Ahmed then transitioned to the role of Medical Engineer at KFMC from January to April 2017. Following this, Ahmed joined Prince Sultan Cardiac Center in July 2017 as a Clinical Engineer, a position they held until November 2021. Currently, Ahmed is employed at the Government Expenditure & Projects Efficiency Authority as a Medical Equipment Engineer, starting in November 2021 until the present. In July 2022, they were promoted to the position of Sr. Medical Equipment Engineer.
Ahmed Al-Olayan obtained a Bachelor's degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from King Saud University, completing their education between 2011 and 2016.

Expro was formed pursuant to a Cabinet Decision issued on February 23, 2021 corresponding to Rajab 11, 1442 AH, pursuant to Resolution No. (389), to include the National Program for Supporting Project Management, Operation and Maintenance in Public Entities (Projects) to the Spending Efficiency Achieving Center, and transforming the Center into the Expenditure and Projects Efficiency Authority governmental.
