Jeremy Besnard

Jeremy Besnard started their work experience in 2006 at Pfizer as an IT student. Jeremy worked on providing a tool for medchemists and developed an idea generator for creating virtual compounds. Jeremy then joined CBS Montpellier in 2008 for an end of year placement. Following that, Besnard worked at the University of Dundee as a PhD student and research assistant from 2008 to 2015. Finally, they joined Exscientia Ltd in 2012, initially as the Chief Technology Officer and later as the Chief Designer starting in August 2018.

Jeremy Besnard obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Medicinal Informatics from the University of Dundee, which they completed from 2008 to 2012. Prior to that, they earned a Diplome Ingenieur in Chemistry from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Montpellier, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. In 2007 and 2008, they also pursued a Master's degree in Biology at the University of Montpellier.
