Stone Gaunce

Stone Gaunce is a Manufacturing Engineer at Extant Aerospace, with a focus on optimizing floor layouts and enhancing workflow efficiency since January 2024. Previously, Stone gained experience as an Engineering Intern at Extant Aerospace, where updates to company drawing templates and the design of 3D printed tools were key contributions. Prior to that, Stone interned at AAM - American Axle & Manufacturing, where collaboration on machine design, robotic system implementation, and 3D modeling were essential tasks. Earlier work included engine rebuilding at J&D Machinery Repair and a mechanical engineering internship at Kimmel Racing, where practical engineering principles were applied in a racing context. Stone holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Indiana University Indianapolis and an Honor's Diploma from Greenwood Christian Academy.
