Christopher Dekle

Christopher Dekle has extensive work experience in various legal and executive leadership roles. Christopher has served as Chief Legal Officer, Executive Vice President, and Corporate Secretary at Extended Stay America since 2021. Prior to that, they held positions such as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Extended Stay America from 2018 to 2021, Deputy General Counsel and Vice President from 2013 to 2018, and General Counsel and Vice President from 2010 to 2013. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Assistant General Counsel and Corporate Counsel at Extended Stay America. Before joining Extended Stay America, Christopher worked as the General Counsel at Employers Life Insurance Corporation from 2003 to 2005, where they handled legal, corporate, and regulatory compliance matters. Prior to that, they worked as an Associate at Epting Law Firm from 2000 to 2003 and as a Project Attorney at Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice, LLP from 1997 to 2000.

Christopher Dekle attended Wofford College from 1990 to 1994 and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting & History. Christopher then went on to attend Samford University from 1994 to 1997 and obtained a Juris Doctor (J.D.) in Law.
