Scott H. has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Scott started their career in 1997 at Hannaford Bros. Co. as a Retail Automation Specialist, where they managed IT infrastructure and implemented technology in new stores. Scott then worked at Food Lion from 2000 to 2009, holding various roles including Technical Services Analyst, LAN Analyst III, and Team Leader of Open Systems.

In 2009, Scott joined Delhaize America, where they initially served as Corporate Responsibility Manager, developing and implementing social responsibility strategies and managing environmental initiatives. Scott later transitioned to the role of Manager of Client Platforms & Engineering, leading a team responsible for client and server platform sustainability and security.

In 2016, Scott worked at CB5 Solutions LLC as a Practice Manager, before joining Extended Stay America in 2017. At Extended Stay America, they held roles such as Information Security Manager and Director of Engineering for Guest Technology & Information Security. Scott eventually became Vice President IT and Chief Information Security Officer.
