Amie Vahrmeyer

Amie Vahrmeyer is an accomplished healthcare professional with extensive experience in long-term care operations. Currently, Amie serves as Vice President of Long Term Care Operations for Extendicare, a role held since December 2013, where previous positions included National Director of Quality and Systems and Long Term Care Consultant. Prior to this, Amie worked at Chartwell Retirement Residences as Director of Care from September 2007 to November 2013 and served as a Palliative Resource Nurse and Visiting Nurse at Saint Elizabeth Health Care from June 2006 to August 2007. Academic credentials include a Bachelor's Degree in Registered Nursing from McMaster University, a Compassion Fatigue Educator certification from TEND Academy, and a Green Belt Certification from Leading Edge Group.
