Angela Cortes

Angela Cortes has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Angela started their career in 2010 as a Research Assistant in Radio Astronomy at the WVU Physics Department, where they analyzed astronomical data and co-authored a published peer-reviewed paper. Angela then worked as a Design and Production Intern at VAUTE COUTURE, INC. in 2013. In 2016, Angela served as a Middle School Science Co-Teacher at Nysmith School for the Gifted. Angela transitioned into the engineering field in 2018, working as a Quality Control Technician at Watt Fuel Cell Corp. and later as a Quality Engineer at Boeing. From 2021 to 2022, they held the role of Quality Assurance Coordinator at Classic Home, Inc. Currently, Angela is working as a Quality Engineer at Extensiv since 2022. Angela's experience showcases their ability to adapt to different roles and industries, gaining expertise in quality control, education, and scientific research.

Angela Cortes completed their education at West Virginia University, where they pursued a degree in Physics with a specialization in Astronomy and Astrophysics. Angela attended the university until 2012. Additionally, they obtained a certification in "Analyze Data with SQL Skill Path" from Codecademy in February 2021.
