Melinda Rodrigues

Melinda Rodrigues has a diverse work experience starting from 2007. Melinda worked as a Recruitment Specialist at Summit HR World Wide from July 2007 to March 2009, where they managed the complete recruitment life-cycle and worked on mandates in the ITES and BPO domain.

In 2009, Melinda joined Spearhead Business Research as an Analyst, where they gained over 5 years of experience in Business Research and Advisory, Financial Advisory, Feasibility Studies, and market research in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC - UAE, Qatar, Bahrain).

After that, Melinda joined Dun & Bradstreet South Asia Middle East as a Consultant in January 2018. Melinda worked directly with the company and was responsible for project management, drafting SOPs, training, and quality management. Melinda worked on key projects such as Dubai Economic Development's Quarterly Reports on the Business Confidence Index and the D&B Gulf Business Bulletin.

In 2019, Melinda became a Team Lead - Research at ValueNotes, where they led a research team until January 2022.

Melinda's next role was at Empowered Learning Systems Pvt. Ltd., where they held the positions of Editor and Manager - Research & Communications. Melinda joined in August 2013 and is currently still working there.

Lastly, Melinda is currently a Strategy Analyst at Extentia Information Technology since January 2022.

Melinda Rodrigues has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Finance from ICFAI. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Business/Commerce from Carmel College for Arts, Science & Commerce for Women (Goa University). Melinda completed their high school education at Carmel Higher Secondary, Goa, where they focused on commerce. Prior to their high school education, Melinda attended Our Own English High School in Dubai, where they obtained the AISSCE qualification.

In addition to their formal education, Melinda has also obtained several certifications. Melinda received certification in "The A to Z of ESG - Environmental & Social Governance" from Udemy in May 2022. In September 2021, they completed the "Python Programming in Python 3" and "SAP Financial Accounting - Online Training" courses, also from Udemy. In July 2020, Melinda obtained a certification in "Microsoft Excel Data Analysis" from Udemy. Melinda also holds a Certificate in Information Technology (CIT) from NIIT and a Diploma in Financial Accounting (DFA) from Manipal Institute of Computer Education (MICE).
