Masafumi Yoshimoto

Dr. Masafumi Yoshimoto has extensive experience in the biopharmaceutical industry in Japan including 10 years as Head of the Licensing & Business Development department at Sankyo Co Ltd. (Daiichi Sankyo Co., Ltd.). At Sankyo, Dr. Yoshimoto developed a deep knowledge and expertise in a wide variety of functions, including licensing, research and development, and drug design. Dr Yoshimoto was also the Chairman of Pharma Delegates developing extensive network into senior level management of many Japanese life science companies. He is currently a Board Member of the Japan Pharmaceutical Licensing Association (JPLA) and he is invited to speak at numerous Pharma Licensing Symposiums in Japan and internationally. Dr. Yoshimoto received his PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Tokyo.
