John L. Akoumah

John L. Akoumah is a dedicated professional with experience in leadership, education, and program promotion. Currently serving as a Senior Ambassador at Extern since February 2024, John actively promotes remote externship programs and provides guidance to students on securing global opportunities. As Chief Operating Officer of the National Student Advisory Board for the Young Investors Network, John supports student engagement in financial education. Previously, John interned at Paragon One in venture capital deal sourcing and served as President of the Fountain Gate Chapel Campus Ministry. Additionally, John's teaching experience at Emmanuel Educational Complex involved instructing students in numeracy and creative arts. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Statistics at the University of Ghana, John is also affiliated with the Oxford Climate Society.
