MacKay Reid

Mackay Reid's work experience includes various roles at different companies. Mackay started their career at Zions Bank as a Financial Service Representative from April 2001 to November 2004. Mackay then worked at XanGo, LLC as a Treasury Analyst - Asia from November 2004 to February 2006. After that, they held the position of Director of Due Diligence & Underwriting at OMNI Brokerage from February 2006 to December 2008. Following this, they joined Select Portfolio Servicing for their Management Training Program from September 2009 to May 2010. Mackay then joined Extra Space Storage in May 2010 as a Sr. Asset Manager until February 2014. Mackay was later promoted to Director of Asset Management and worked in this role from January 2014 to January 2019. Subsequently, they became the Sr. Director of Asset Strategy at Extra Space Storage, a position they held from January 2019 to January 2023. Currently, Mackay is serving as the Vice President of Asset Strategy at Extra Space Storage from January 2023 onwards. During their time at Extra Space Storage, Mackay has been responsible for various tasks such as institutional JV structuring, management, and optimization, disposition program management and execution, targeted portfolio acquisitions, core asset management functions, and overseeing a commercial portfolio of nearly 1.0M SF.

Mackay Reid completed a Bachelor of Science in Finance at the University of Utah from 2001 to 2004. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Utah - David Eccles School of Business from 2008 to 2010.
