Don Synstelien

Don Synstelien has over 20 years of work experience. In 1994, they started SynFonts, an internet-based type foundry. In 1998, they began working at Caribiner International as Creative Director. From 2000 to 2002, they were the Chief Creative Officer and Director of Product Strategy at Sidereus Technologies. In 2000, they also started Synstelien Design and Talisman Creative, where they were an Experience Architect. From 2005 to 2008, they worked at Fox Interactive Media as Creative Director. In 2008, they began working at MySpace in the same role. In 2009, they founded Extrafeet, a self-funded incubator focused on creating "moonshot" products, and also started Skyward Interactive, which provides interactive design and development for clients.

Don Synstelien attended the Dallas Institute of Art at Omaha from 1986 to 1988, where they earned an Associates degree in advertising and commercial art.
