Michael Smith

Michael Smith's work experience includes holding the role of Principal Release Train Program Manager at ExtraHop since 2021. Prior to that, they worked at LUMEDX from 2014 to 2021, first as a Director of Development Operations where they modernized the development process and restructured teams for higher quality software and on-time delivery. Michael then served as a Technical Program Manager/Release Train Engineer. Before joining LUMEDX, Michael worked at Parity Corporation from 2008 to 2014, starting as a Custom Developer and eventually becoming a Software Development Manager, where they built innovative products and worked with C-level executives to translate business goals into development tasks. Michael also held the role of Lead Developer, where they designed and developed automated costing systems and led a two-person team in creating a web application for managing valuable assets.

Michael Smith holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Information Systems (CIS) from Eastern Washington University. In addition, they have obtained a certification in Agile Coaching Workshop (ICP-ACC) from Cprime, Inc in 2022.
