Mike Montague

VP Of Engineering at ExtraHop

Mike Montague has a strong background in software engineering and leadership roles. Mike is currently serving as the VP of Engineering at ExtraHop since August 2021. Prior to this, they worked at ExtraHop Networks, where they held various positions including Director of Architecture from January 2018 to August 2021, Engineering Manager from May 2015 to January 2018, and Software Engineer from May 2014 to May 2015. Before joining ExtraHop Networks, Mike worked as a Software Engineer at InSource Systems from September 2004 to March 2005. Mike also gained experience as a Software Engineer at Rocketpipe Corporation from April 2000 to June 2001. In addition, they served as an Instructor at DigiPen Institute of Technology from January 1999 to December 1999. Mike began their career at Microsoft as a Software Engineer, working from 1989 to 1997.

Mike Montague attended Clarkson University from 1984 to 1988, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Mike then pursued their interest in wooden boat building at the Northwest School of Wooden Boat Building from 2008 to 2009, earning a diploma in Traditional Small Craft. Additionally, in 1988 and 1989, Mike Montague attended the University of Washington to study Aeronautics and Astronautics.
