Rich Hughes

Rich Hughes has a diverse work experience in the technology and cybersecurity industry. Rich most recently served as the SVP of Global Sales Strategy at ExtraHop since May 2023. Prior to that, they were the Vice President of the Americas at XM Cyber from April 2022 to May 2023. Rich also worked as the Vice President of the Global Financial Services Sector at Cybereason from November 2020 to January 2022. Additionally, Rich held leadership positions at Check Point Software Technologies, Forescout Technologies Inc., Illumio, Riverbed Technology, Palo Alto Networks, F5 Networks, and Fox Technologies, where they gained extensive experience in sales and account management. Throughout their career, Rich has consistently achieved or overachieved sales quotas, received multiple awards, and contributed to significant deals for the companies they worked for.

Rich Hughes attended Harvard University where they studied Strategic Management in the field of study. Rich completed their education at Harvard in 2014. Prior to that, they attended North Carolina State University and studied Biological Sciences, completing their education in 1995.

Additionally, Rich Hughes obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 1998, they became a Microsoft Certified Sales Specialist. In 2007, they received the IBM Top Gun - Software and Solutions certification. In 2017, they obtained multiple certifications including Forescout Certified Sales Professional (FCSP), Command of the Message, and Value Negotiation from Force Management. Most recently, in 2021, they obtained the Command of the Message and MEDDPICC certifications from Force Management.
