Will Mortensen

Will Mortensen has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Will started their career in 2006 as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Department of Electrical Engineering - University of Washington. In 2007, they worked as an Electrical Engineering Intern at Loud Technologies. From 2008 to 2010, Will was a Research Assistant at the Applied Physics Lab at the University of Washington, where they focused on designing and implementing techniques for classification of submarine targets with active sonar. During this time, they co-wrote papers and attended conferences. Since 2010, Will has been with ExtraHop, initially as a Software Engineer and gradually progressing to Senior Software Engineer, Principal Software Engineer, and eventually becoming a Senior Principal Software Engineer in 2019.

Will Mortensen completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington in 2008. Will then pursued their Master of Science (M.S.) degree in the same field from the University of Washington, which they obtained in 2010.
