Michael Rivera

Software Contractor at Extreme Music

Michael Rivera has a strong background in software development and IT consulting. Michael started their career at IBM as a Software Engineer in 1986 and later worked at Xerox as a Senior Programmer. Michael then became the Director of Development at Quarterdeck Corporation before transitioning to Symantec as a Senior Software Engineer. In 2002, Michael served as the CTO at Airsoft Wireless, where they developed applications for real-time data access on wireless mobile devices. Michael also worked as a Managing Partner and Software Consultant at Del Rey Technologies, providing IT consulting services to various businesses. From 2012 onwards, Michael has worked as a Software Contractor at Extreme Music, APM Music, and Komposed. In these roles, they were responsible for implementing and managing backend and frontend technologies for music portals using cloud services like AWS and Microsoft Azure.

Michael Rivera attended California State University, Northridge from 1982 to 1986. Michael obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science during this time. In 2014, they also earned a certification as a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) from the Scrum Alliance.
