Barrett Parkman

Barrett Parkman is currently an advisor at Extreme Tech Challenge. Prior to that, they were the Director, Startup and VC Ecosystem at Samsung Catalyst Fund from August 2019 to May 2021. Barrett has also been a mentor for Google Launchpad Accelerator from September 2016 to July 2019. Barrett was managing partner at GWC Innovator Fund from January 2016 to July 2019, and a mentor at HAX from May 2010 to October 2011.

Barrett Parkman has a wide range of experience in executive leadership development, strategic marketing management, venture capital, and global management. Barrett has a BA in economics from the University of Georgia and an MBA in international management from Tsinghua University. Barrett also has a certificate in management from the MIT Sloan School of Management and has completed the Stanford Tsinghua Exchange Program in global management. In addition, they have completed executive programs in digital product management and AWS fundamentals from Coursera and Y Combinator Startup Investor School.
