Ben Barker

Ben was born in the UK but has lived across all corners of the world his entire life. From the Middle East, South East Asia, Africa to the Americas and now the Indian Ocean, he is able to draw on this vast global experience and apply it to the development of EXTREME’s international sports and leisure destinations.

A graduate from Sheffield Hallam University (UK) in 1998 with a Hotel and Tourism Degree, he has been involved in operational, development, project management and business consultancy in sports, leisure and entertainment destinations for over 20 years.

His in-depth knowledge of this industry, an understanding of the markets, trends and competition and his extensive network, allows him to deliver a bespoke project on time, budget and to the client's requirements and expectations.

Ben is a strong believer in enjoying what the natural world offers and will very often be found hiking, surfing, paddleboarding, freediving and trying out any new adventure sports he has the opportunity to experience wherever he may be in the world. For now, Ben's top adventure destinations are Nepal and the Seychelles, but who knows where he'll discover next.
