Associate Director of Programmatic at Exverus Media

Sean Edwards has a wealth of work experience, beginning in 2007 as a Sales Representative for Box Brothers. In this role, they were responsible for sales of boxes, supplies and shipping services to an average of two hundred to three hundred customers weekly. Sean also reordered inventory from four vendors weekly and restocked inventory daily for store sales displays, as well as packing an average of fifty items weekly to be shipped for contracted and daily customers. In 2008, they became a Camp Counselor for the Los Angeles Clippers, where they prepared camp supplies and three hundred gift bags daily for camp attendees, as well as coaching 30 children ages from six to eight, the fundamentals of basketball during their daily skills sessions, lunch and breaks from 8 A.M. until 4 P.M. From 2013 to 2016, Sean worked as a Marketing and Operations Intern for TopDrawerSoccer.com, where they marketed content to newspapers and other credited news publications, contacted over 200 university media relation directors about new articles, rankings, etc., communicated with club/AAU teams about new articles, rankings, etc., created spreadsheets to organize University and news publication contacts, used Google Analytics to research, analyze and find new markets, researched new markets for advertising, and created spreadsheets within Twitter to organize incoming content. In 2016, they became a Negotiator (Local Partnerships) for Initiative. Finally, from 2019 to 2022, Sean worked at PHD as a Programmatic Manager, Programmatic Senior Analyst, and Programmatic Analyst. In 2022, they became the Associate Director of Programmatic for Exverus Media.

Sean Edwards received their High School Diploma from Redondo Union High School in 2008. Sean then attended California State University-Dominguez Hills, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Sports, Entertainment and Hospitality Management in 2014. In addition, Sean has obtained several certifications, including Become a Leader and Leading with Purpose from LinkedIn in December 2022, Yahoo Advanced TV Certification from Yahoo in December 2022, and Edge Academy Certified: Marketing Foundations from The Trade Desk in October 2019.
