Mongezi Veti

Mongezi Veti currently serves as the Executive Head of Sustainability at Exxaro Resources, where responsibilities include managing a group sustainability portfolio that encompasses climate change, environmental management, health and safety, community development, and enterprise development. Previous roles at Exxaro include General Manager HSEC, focusing on health, safety, environment, and community policies and strategies, as well as General Manager Area 2, overseeing underground mining operations. Prior to Exxaro, Mongezi held the position of General Manager at Arnot Colliery with Sasol Mining, responsible for the coal production process. Mongezi's educational background includes an AMP from The Wharton School, an MBL from the University of South Africa, and a National Higher Diploma in Mining Engineering from the University of Johannesburg.
