Retha Alers

Retha Alers has extensive experience in human resources and training, currently serving as a Practitioner in HR Applications at Exxaro Resources since April 2008, where responsibilities include comprehensive support for SAP HR Applications. Prior to this role, Retha held positions as a Learning Development Coordinator at Exxaro Resources, focusing on maintaining Qualification, Training, and Development Catalogs, as well as assisting with ATR/WSP for MQA. Retha's earlier experience includes working as a Learning Coordinator at Tshikondeni Mine from November 1994 to March 2008, where similar responsibilities were undertaken. Also, Retha served as a Learning Coordinator and ABET Facilitator at Exxaro Resources from 2000 to 2008, teaching literacy and numeracy courses. Retha is a graduate of the Management Development Programme in Human Resources Management from the University of Pretoria and completed Matric at Ellisras High School.
