Kinoka O. has extensive experience in the fashion industry, starting with their role as a Product Development Manager at Solow from 2001 to 2006. Kinoka then worked as an Ecommerce Merchandise Manager/Buyer at Solow from 2006 to 2008. Kinoka moved on to become the Director of Design and Merchandising at Solow Style from 2008 to 2010. Kinoka then joined Exxel Outdoors as a Senior Merchandise Manager from 2012 to 2015, where they focused on design, merchandising, and product development. Kinoka returned to Exxel Outdoors in 2021 as the Director of Merchandising. From 2015 to 2019, they worked at Forever 21, progressing from Senior Buyer to Manager Buying to Senior Manager Buying. Kinoka'smost recent role before rejoining Exxel Outdoors was the Director of Buying at Fashion Nova from 2019 to 2021.

Kinoka O. earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English Literature from Whitman College.
