Mussa Rahbari

Mussa Rahbari has a strong background in regulatory and compliance within the financial services industry. Mussa currently holds the role of Senior Director and Head of Financial Services | Regulatory & Compliance at Exxeta since January 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Director and Head of Financial Services | Regulatory & Compliance at Exxeta from July 2021 to December 2022. Before joining Exxeta, Mussa worked at Deloitte as a Senior Manager in FSI Risk Advisory | Regulatory & Compliance from June 2019 to September 2019 and as a Manager in the same field from July 2017 to May 2019. Mussa also has experience working at Deutsche Bank as a Vice President in Regulatory Strategy and Oversight from August 2015 to June 2017 and as an Assistant Vice President in Global Corporate Governance from October 2014 to July 2015. Mussa began their career at Deloitte as a Consultant in Financial Risk Solutions | Regulatory & Compliance from June 2014 to September 2014 and as a Business Analyst in the same field from January 2013 to May 2014.

Mussa Rahbari holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in International Banking Law from City, University of London. They have also pursued a study program in Law, with a focus area in Corporate & Business Law, at the University of Düsseldorf, where they have additionally studied Anglo-American Law. In 2022, Mussa enrolled at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management to obtain a Certified Expert in Sustainable Finance (CESFi) degree, which they are expected to complete in 2023. In terms of additional certifications, Mussa has obtained a Certified Expert in Sustainable Finance certification from the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management in April 2023. They have also completed the Principles of Sustainable Finance course from Erasmus University Rotterdam in June 2022. Mussa holds a Certified AML & Fraud Officer certification from FORUM • Institut für Management GmbH, earned in December 2019. Additionally, they obtained a Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) certification from Scrum.org in May 2019 and a Certified Compliance Officer certification from FORUM Institut für Management GmbH in November 2018.
