Yaroslav Popkov

Yaroslav Popkov is a skilled engineer with extensive experience in chemical engineering and project management. Currently serving as a Permian Planning Advisor at ExxonMobil since July 2019, Yaroslav has held multiple roles, including Midland Basin - Water Lead and Facilities Engineer. Prior experiences include internships and co-ops at notable companies like International Paper and KapStone Paper and Packaging Corporation, where Yaroslav focused on process engineering, optimization, and project implementation that resulted in significant cost savings. Additional experience includes a research internship at NASA Ames Research Center and academic support roles, showcasing a strong foundation in both technical and mentoring capacities. Yaroslav Popkov obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University in 2019.
